Winnie Chua is an acclaimed pianist, collaborative artist, and music educator. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, she is a prizewinner at numerous national and international competitions. Recognised for her captivating stage presence, Winnie has earned widespread praise for her virtuosic brilliance, nuanced interpretations, and the profound expressive depth she brings to her repertoire.

Winnie began her piano studies at the age of four, receiving her foundational training at the NAFA School of Young Talents in Singapore. Earning early recognition through various competition awards, she distinguished herself at sixteen as the youngest candidate in her year to achieve a Distinction in the LRSM Diploma in Piano Performance. She subsequently moved to London to further her piano studies at the Royal College of Music, graduating with a Bachelor of Music with Honours under the tutelage of Professor John Byrne.

A laureate of multiple international competitions, Winnie was awarded First Prizes at the Mozart International Music Competition, the Brighton Springboard Music Festival, and twice at the GCC International Competition. She is also a Gold Medalist at the Singapore Performers’ Festival and a prizewinner at the ENKOR International Piano Competition, the Singapore International Festival of Music Competition (Soloists Category), the East Zone Piano Competition, and the National Piano & Violin Competition.

Winnie has performed on prominent stages across Europe and Asia, giving recitals at the University Church of St Mary the Virgin in Oxford, St Dunstan-in-the-West, St Mary Abbots Church in Kensington, and the National Musicians' Church of the Holy Sepulchre in London. Her international highlights include performances at the Hong Kong Jockey Club (The Hilltop in the Valley), Christ Church Shameen (广东省基督教沙面堂) in Guangdong, as well as the Esplanade Recital Studio and NAFA Lee Foundation Theatre in Singapore.

An avid chamber musician, Winnie is equally at home in collaborative performance. Her ensemble engagements include appearances at the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building at St Hilda’s College, the Midlands Arts Centre, St Paul’s Church in Birmingham, Lauderdale House, and St Alban the Martyr in London. She also regularly lends her artistry to charitable concert series, with performances at Cranleigh Arts in Surrey, St Mary's Church, and the Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre.

Alongside her engagements as a pianist, Winnie is deeply committed to music education. She maintains a private piano studio, where she takes pride in guiding her students towards musical excellence while cultivating a lifelong devotion to the art form.
